Tomorrow I’ll be at Colonial Downs with folks from our law firm, clients and friends enjoying the Virginia Derby and other races at the big New Kent County facility just off Interstate 64. Current favorite Nicanor is a surprise choice, and I’ll be interested to see how he does in his sixth race.

Even as a young kid, I knew I belonged on the back of a horse. As you can see from this picture, (yes…that is me on Black Jack), I could barely see from under the visor of my helmet, and my legs couldn’t reach the stirrup irons.
